More than 70 MCH employees enjoyed a chartered motor coach trip to Blackwater and Arrow Rock for
shopping and touring. The employees were treated to a luncheon catered by Vicki Meyer at the Arrow
Rock State Park, followed by a matinee performance of Cats at the
Lyceum Theatre.
The event, coordinated by the MCH Social Committee, garnered many compliments from the
employees. Annie Pursley, Graphic Designer, said "I always have such a good time at our summer
outing. I really like the people I work with at MCH, and it is such fun to get away with them and
relax. This year's trip was a blast. I came home with great treasures from our shopping stops in
Blackwater and Arrow Rock, and saw some amazing performers at the Lyceum. It was a great day."
MCH CEO Peter Long said, "Having an opportunity to spend some free time - in a non work
setting - with co-workers is important and healthy for any team. The daily grind of business makes
it ever more important that we all get to see a more relaxed side of our fellow co-workers than we
normally see in the work setting. A little fun helps rejuvenate the team and it serves as a form of
recognition and appreciation for all the hard work the group does. The whole thing is great and
important."
