MCH CEO Peter Long was a guest panelist at the Entrepreneurs’ Exchange on May 16th in Kansas
City. The Kauffman Foundation of Entrepreneurship and other Kansas City businesses sponsored the
event. Attendees enjoyed the educational aspects of the exchange, including presentations by many
of Kansas City’s leading entrepreneurs who shared their formulas for success.
Mr. Long served on a panel with Bob LaGarde, August Grasis III, and Gail Worth-Wilson. The
panelists discussed Dr. John Gartner’s book, The Hypomanic Edge, and his belief that entrepreneurs
are genetically programmed to be risk takers who are highly motivated.
Long said, “It’s always exciting and energizing to participate in the Entrepreneurial
Exchange. The two-day event motivates new entrepreneurs and provides them with an opportunity to
benefit from the experience of successful business owners.”
